Marvel refers to a prominent entertainment company known for its comic books, movies, and television series featuring a wide range of superhero characters. Founded in 1939 as Timely Publications, it eventually became known as Marvel Comics. The Marvel Universe is a fictional universe where various superheroes, including iconic characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and the X-Men, interact and battle villains.

Marvel is particularly recognized for its cinematic universe, officially launched with “Iron Man” in 2008, leading to a series of interconnected films that form the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The brand has become synonymous with superhero culture, influencing popular media and spawning a massive fan base.
